I can't believe how hard it is to find a hobby. I am in search of a good hobby something not too complicated but not so easy that it's boring. I have an idea but I am not sure how to do it, I have always wanted to know how to knit, my grandmother did it all the time, but she died before she could teach me. Anyway, I guess I am just looking for some suggestions.

I DON'T FEEL LIKE I'M "THE LONE RANGER" IN TRTYING TO DECIDE WHAT HOBBY TO PURSUE.  SINCE I HAVE LOTS OF TIME TO SPEND TOWARDS THE HOBBY I DECIDE UPON, GETTING ONE STARTED DOES NOT INVOLVE A CONCERN FOR HOW QUICKLY I DECIDE WHEN TO START.  ANY SUGGESTIONS??

If there is one thing I don't have a problem with, it's finding a new hobby lol. Knitting seems like it could be interesting. I know nothing about it, but I found a site that looks like a solid starting point:

www.knittinghelp.com

When I find a hobby I'm interested in, I usually spend a day or two immersing myself in it. I research websites, see what materials I will need, how much money it will cost, etc. I also find people that are incredibly experienced in the area and see what they do with their expertise. That helps alot to inspire me and get me going.

Anyways, I hope that helps. Good luck!
